Diemel Captures FASTRAK Grand Nationals Title

This past weekend, AJ entered the FASTRAK point standings a few points back of the lead, but when he left Wythe Raceway in VA, he was crowned the Grand Nationals champion for 2010 with his 3rd place finish in the main event. For his efforts, AJ won the top prize of $30,000 to cap off a very successful 2010 season.

AJ took home the win at Langlade County Speedway on Oct. 2nd in the FASTRAK division. On the 3rd, he took home the runner up spot.

AJ picked up 2 more feature wins on the weekend, winning the FASTRAK feature event at Shawano Speedway on Saturday night, then winning the WDLMA special at Seymour Speedway on Sunday night.

AJ continued his great 2010 season, notching another pair of feature wins over the past 2 weeks at Shawano Speedway. AJ now has 7 feature wins at Shawano this season.

3rd Place Finish @ Shawano

AJ had to start at the tail of the feature on Saturday night at Shawano after missing his heat race. He made up very quickly the positions he lost by doing so, as he quickly joined the top 5 by lap 10. He would gobble up the 4th & 3rd place positions as well, but didn’t have enough time to catch eventual winner Jeff Curtin.

AJ Visits Victory Lane Twice on the Weekend

On Friday at Antigo, AJ started in the 9th position in the FASTRAK feature, catching and passing race leader Troy Springborn to take home the victory.

On Saturday at Shawano, AJ once again bested Dave Fieber, capturing another feature win on the weekend.

AJ was unable to secure yet another victory at Langlade County Speedway this past Friday night. He started in the 7th position, and made his way up to the front, but settled for the runner up finishing position on the night.

Shawano’s races on Saturday were cancelled due to rain.

Exciting Finish Nets AJ Another Shawano Victory

Dave Fieber and AJ once again battled for the top 2 spots at Shawano Speedway, this time AJ got the better of the battle, netting his 4th feature win of the season at the speedway.

Fieber led much of the race with AJ in tow, but lapped traffic played a large role as Fieber got stuck behind a car on the final lap, allowing AJ to make the pass down low at the checkers.

Another Victory @ Antigo, Trouble @ Shawano

AJ picked up yet another feature win this past Friday night at Langlade County Speedway in the FASTRAK division. On Saturday at Shawano, he was involved in a multi-car wreck at the start of the feature. AJ was not able to continue, ending his night early.
